Principal Solutions Architect & Director of Operations, Cloud Onsite Tech
Project Director, Brownsville Business Development Group (non‑profit partner)
Short version: I design, ship, and run complex systems—voice, identity, networks, collaboration, and data—across multi‑site enterprises. Then I train your team and stick around to make sure it works in the real world.
My story (told simply)
I grew up reading an encyclopedia set cover to cover. When I hit a word I didn’t know, I’d chase it through another volume, sometimes spending hours on a single entry. That habit—relentless curiosity and follow‑through—became the backbone of my career.
I served in the Boy Scouts, the Civil Air Patrol (search‑and‑rescue; avionics/aeronautics), and the U.S. Army. I earned a full music scholarship, picked up guitar and piano (and most instruments I touch), and later got deep into drones, VR, and production. Eventually, technology became the canvas where all those disciplines met: structure, creativity, and execution.
AI is the recent multiplier. It doesn’t replace experience; it amplifies it—automating the repetitive, surfacing insights faster, and letting me spend more time on architecture, resilience, and training.
Vision & Goals
My vision is rooted in a simple premise: technology should be a bridge to prosperity, not a barrier. After decades building complex systems for Fortune‑500 companies and training countless professionals, I’m now channeling that know‑how into a mission that lifts communities and levels the playing field.
Democratizing world‑class tools
Too often, mission‑driven organizations and schools are priced out of the very tools that could transform their impact. Cloud OnSite Tech exists to change that. The company offers a Solo Basic plan that is free for verified non‑profits, educational and religious organizations, passing through vendor discounts from Microsoft, Google and other partnerscloudonsitetech.com. Even the next tiers are designed to scale affordably: Solo Pro and Grow plans add staff accounts, automated marketing and AI chatbots, while the Plus tier offers unlimited staff and hundreds of inventory locations at roughly 10 % less than comparable market planscloudonsitetech.com. This model reflects my belief that access to CRM, marketing automation and AI‑powered voice systems shouldn’t depend on budget size.
Empowering communities through partnership
Brownsville Business Development Group (BBDG) shares this ethos. Its mission is to empower individuals with knowledge, tools and opportunity—fostering economic development, workforce readiness and social uplift across the U.S. and Mexicobrownsvillebdg.org. BBDG focuses on “lifting up our community” by employing and supporting homeless individuals and bridging education and employment through cutting‑edge training, mentorship and real‑world project participationbrownsvillebdg.org. By forging strong partnerships with industry, government and academia—including leaders in aerospace, logistics and sustainable construction—the group cultivates a skilled, future‑ready workforce while revitalizing underserved communitiesbrownsvillebdg.org. That’s why our collaboration is so powerful: we’re combining tech infrastructure with community‑driven training.
Making education a proving ground
We’ve already begun to deliver on this vision by working directly with universities. Brownsville BDG and its partners have launched projects that bring advanced drone and robotics programs to local students, collaborating with Universidad de Matamoros and Georgia Tech Roboticsbrownsvillebdg.org. Cloud OnSite Tech complements this with initiatives to bring AI‑powered marketing, web development and video‑creation tools to local schoolscloudonsitetech.com. Our goal is to turn campuses into innovation hubs where students not only learn theory but also build and deploy real‑world solutions—often at a fraction of the cost quoted by traditional vendors.
Goals
Provide accessible cloud and AI tools to non‑profits, educational institutions and small businesses so they can manage operations and outreach without prohibitive costs, building on our free Solo Basic plan and discounted higher tierscloudonsitetech.com.
Bridge the gap between education and employment by offering training programs, internships and community projects—like the collaborative drone/robotics program with local universitiesbrownsvillebdg.org—that prepare students for high‑demand fields.
Design cost‑effective infrastructure for educational institutions, ensuring schools can upgrade networks and communication systems without sacrificing fiscal responsibility.
Foster economic growth across the U.S. and Mexico by aligning with BBDG’s mission of empowering individuals, supporting homeless populations and partnering with industry to cultivate a future‑ready workforcebrownsvillebdg.orgbrownsvillebdg.org.
Build a community‑driven ecosystem where creativity and collaboration flourish. Cloud OnSite Tech’s philosophy is to be more than a software vendor—we are “builders, marketers and problem‑solvers” who help turn ideas into thriving companiescloudonsitetech.com. Likewise, BBDG’s work shows that when people are given knowledge and tools, we transform lives—one person, one project and one community at a timebrownsvillebdg.org.
Through these goals, I aim to ensure that technology isn’t just another product; it’s a catalyst for shared prosperity.

A few projects that say who I am
Telecom & conferencing. I designed and delivered a Polycom‑powered executive conference room for Telefónica—one of the world’s largest telecom groups—then trained staff so the space stayed world‑class after launch. Telefónica
Hospitals. I built biomedical equipment tracking at University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital (major U.S. teaching hospital; ~1,500+ beds) and trained biomed/clinical teams. I also developed a claims system with Broward General Medical Center (today Broward Health Medical Center). Miller School of MedicineJackson Health SystemBroward Health
Fitness & multi‑site. For YouFit Gyms (formerly YouFit Health Clubs), I delivered end‑to‑end infrastructure: ADFS/SSO, hands‑free COVID workflows, onboarding tablets, CRM/PM/accounting systems, nationwide ticketing and field ops. (YouFit rebranded in 2021.) PR NewswireClub Insider Online
Retail rollouts. I led national POS cutovers for Chico’s FAS brands—including Chico’s, White House Black Market, and Soma—and trained store teams for smooth go‑lives. Chico's FAS
Transit & media. I worked on the networks behind subway station screens and content delivery visible to millions across NYC Transit—the same environment where the MTA has been rolling out thousands of real‑time digital displays. MTAABC7 New York
Security & identity. I implemented SSO and credential‑hardening with Dashlane for enterprise clients (directory integrations, admin controls) and worked with Trustwave on security posture initiatives and practices. DashlaneTrustwave
Education & streaming. For Plaza Jewish Community Chapel (NYC), I implemented respectful funeral streaming and webcasting capability and trained staff on cultural and technical details. I also taught Microsoft curriculum at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers—starting as a student, then instructor, then facilities manager. Plaza Jewish Community ChapelNew Horizons
Stadiums & sports. I designed multi‑state VoIP—using NetIQ Vivinet Assessor to simulate calls and pull SNMP data for latency/jitter reports—so venues knew their networks could carry voice before fans ever arrived. NetIQ+1
Foundational engineering. I worked at IBM’s historic Boca Raton (“Blue Lake”) campus ecosystem—the birthplace of the original IBM PC—on enterprise IT initiatives. Boca Raton Innovation Campus
Breadth (because real life isn’t siloed)
VoIP at scale: I’ve engineered SIP/Asterisk deployments (including early experiments before SIP became mainstream) and ran national phone systems on Cisco concentrators with NEC handsets—down to packet‑level testing.
Enterprise migrations: As Director of IT at NRC Electronics, I migrated an IBM AIX RS/6000 mini‑mainframe and COBOL stack to a Linux/Windows hybrid (Windows “Hydra”/Terminal Services for remote access), stood up VPNs between Puerto Rico and Ireland, and ran VoIP/video/data across the mesh—while passing ISO audits.
Pro sports & venues: For ACS clients such as Orlando Magic and large sport complexes, I delivered VoIP across multiple states and used Vivinet Assessor to produce hard numbers (latency, jitter, MOS) before cutover. NetIQ
Retail & national cutovers: I led overnight POS conversions for thousands of stores—including Chico’s FAS brands—and trained teams for Amazon retail systems. Chico's FAS
Digital signage & media: Built/managed content networks for New York’s transit screens; produced streaming systems years before “streaming” became a household word.
Security operations: Designed policies, IAM, and hardening; partnered with security vendors (Trustwave/SpiderLabs research and MDR). Trustwave+1
C‑level advisory: Provided CTO‑level services (e.g., AdWorks/AdShip engagements at Google Campus; shipping‑label ad tech linked to e‑commerce).
Public companies & trade: Co‑created two public companies (one via public shell; one via gray market/pink sheet) and previously managed $2M/month international trading (containerized imports).
Mental health provider IT: Delivered end‑to‑end operations (web, telephony, security) for Infinite Personal Possibilities, a top Medicaid waiver provider in South Florida.
Retail security: Implemented security systems for T‑Mobile stores in South Florida, and delivered nationwide video/loss‑prevention rollouts with DTT/DTiQ. DTiQPAR Technology
YMCA of South Florida & education: Built sites/CRM and delivered training programs; ran massive class labs and imaged hundreds of PCs daily to keep Microsoft courses pristine.
Teaching is built in
I’m a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and MCSE by background. My delivery model is always:
Build → Document → Train → Handover → Stabilize.
Admins get runbooks, SOPs, and short videos. Users get the “how‑to in their words.” We don’t abandon projects; we stand them up and stand behind them.
Right now (Cloud Onsite + Brownsville BDG)
Together with our non‑profit partner (Brownsville Business Development Group), we productize what works:
AI Phone Systems & Voice Agents (Asterisk/SIP + HighLevel): intelligent IVR, voicebots, transcription, scoring, CRM automations. Asterisk+1
WooSoft SSO Suite: our glue across Microsoft/Azure AD or Google Workspace to unify identity and access.
Sites, Stores & Funnels: quick‑turn web + commerce with training so your team can run it.
Community enablement: drone schools (Brownsville, TX & Matamoros, MX), free starter sites for nonprofits, and a public directory of community services.
University/industry work: collaborations include Kennesaw State University Robotics and Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros—including a hands‑on project we salvaged for ~$500 when others quoted millions of pesos.
We also work with local partners (e.g., E‑Bridge and the City of Brownsville) to help small businesses modernize—training first, technology second.
Why teams hire me (and keep me)
Clarity. I cut through the noise, design the minimal path to value, and prove it with a pilot.
Calm delivery. National rollouts, hospitals, stadiums—no drama, just receipts.
Ownership. I stay through adoption and stabilization. If it breaks at 2am during go‑live, I’m there.
Transfer of skill. Your team will own it after I leave—that’s by design.
